Slovenia is an important ally of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the road to full membership in the European Union, High Representative and EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajčák said today in a meeting with the Slovenian Foreign Minister Samuel Zbogar in Sarajevo. BiH and Slovenia had the same administrative system until 1991, and BiH can learn immensely from the Slovenian experience and thereby speed up integration with the European Union, Lajčák said.
