| High Representative and EU Special Representative Valentin Inzko met with Austrian Defence Minister Norbert Darabos in Sarajevo today to discuss the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Inzko pointed out that whilst the security situation in the country has been very stable for many years, recent political developments have been discouraging.“The current stalemate has prompted the EU and the US to engage political leaders in talks aimed at ensuring that Bosnia and Herzegovina is prepared for NATO and EU membership”, Inzko said. | |
