HR/EUSR Valentin Inzko, OSCE HoM Gary Robbins, and CEC President Irena Hadziabdic, today signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding which defines the advisory role that the OHR and OSCE retain within the CEC. In June 2005, when the OHR and OSCE withdrew from CEC membership, an MoU was signed regulating continued cooperation between the CEC and the two international organizations. The MoU is extended annually. The CEC is a domestic institution responsible for supervising elections in BiH, as well as implementation of the Law on Conflict of Interest and the Law on Political Party Financing.
