OHR welcomes today’s adoption of the Revised Strategy for the Implementation of Annex VII of the Dayton Peace Agreement by the BiH House of Peoples: with this the Strategy is now formally adopted.

The Annex VII Strategy includes measures necessary to support sustainable return, as well as recognizing the need to provide local integration support for those internally displaced persons who are unable to return. The Strategy represents a significant effort towards finalizing the return process in the country and has the support of the International Community in BiH.

OHR now calls on the competent authorities to ensure that this strategy is implemented to it’s fullest extent in order to provide the 113,000 internally displaced persons lasting housing solutions in the country.
