The start of EU accession negotiations on January 21st 2014 represented a historic step for Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s neighbour, on its path towards the EU.

For other enlargement countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, this step presents a stimulant that could accelerate reform efforts because it provides further technical and professional insight into the most recent practices in the process of EU integration.
