Ambassador Peter Sorensen, Head of the Delegation of the EU to Bosnia and Herzegovina/EU Special Representative, hosted an official reception in Sarajevo on the occasion of Europe Day, May 9, 2013. Around 400 guests from the worlds of public service, business, civil society were present and heard remarks by Ambassador Sorensen and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Vjekoslav Bevanda.
Reiterating the commitment of the EU to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Sorensen said: “Just as for the other countries, the European Union is here to lend our assistance, both financially and politically. We are here to be your partner in reform and modernization – and we will be here for the long term. We have shown that we put our money and efforts where our mouths are.”
