“I welcome today’s adoption of new Rules of Procedure for the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is a measure towards the normalisation of the political situation in the country. Bosnia and Herzegovina needs fully functioning and effective institutions at the state level to address key reforms and move forwards towards the EU. Today’s result is certainly a step in the right direction.

I am ready to travel to Sarajevo next Monday, 3 December, discuss with the BiH Presidency, the government, and party leaders to confirm whether there is sufficient agreement on the police reform to initial the Stabilisation and Association Agreement.”
