Olli Rehn, Member of the European Commission Responsible for Enlargement, travelled to Sarajevo on 3 December 2007, in light of the recently-adopted Rules of Procedure by Parliament, an important step in the reform process.

Following his meetings with the Members of the BiH Presidency, the Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers and the party leaders who are signatories to the Mostar Declaration, he confirmed that there is sufficient agreement on reform to initial the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with BiH.

The initialling will take place on 4 December 2007 in the presence of Mr. Javier Solana, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy.
