During his first official visit to Sarajevo since taking office in December 2009, President Van Rompuy met with the BiH Presidency members and the High Representative/EU Special Representative in BiH Valentin Inzko.  

Following the meetings, President Van Rompuy gave a statement to the media at the Delegation of the European Union to BiH. The visit is part of a wider tour in the Western Balkans which also includes Montenegro, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Albania.
