On the ocassion of  inauguration of the BiH Presidency members, President of the European Commission José Manuel Durão Barroso, conveyed his most sincere congratulations to the elected members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina hereby stating in his message:

"I would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm the European perspective for your country and to welcome the development of ever closer relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Commission. I trust that your active involvement throughout your mandate will help Bosnia and Herzegovina to address the key reforms that are needed to advance significantly on the path towards the European Union.
