Tempus IV – 4th Call for Proposals EACEA 32/2010

Tempus IV- 4th Call for Proposal (EACEA/32/10) was announced in the Official Journal of the European Union (C 278/18) on October 15, 2010. The Call has been announced under the fourth phase of the Tempus programme (Tempus IV – Reform of higher education through international university cooperation 2010/C 278/12), covering period from 2007 to 2013.

The overall objective of the Tempus programme is to contribute towards facilitating cooperation in the field of higher education among Member States of the European Union (EU) and partner countries in the surrounding area (including Bosnia and Herzegovina). In particular, the programme will help promote voluntary convergence with EU developments in the field of higher education, deriving from the Europe 2020 Strategy, the Strategic Framework for European Cooperation in Education and Training (ET 2020) and the Bologna process.

The purpose of this call for proposals is to promote multilateral cooperation among higher education institutions, authorities and organizations from EU Member States and partner countries with the focus on the reform and modernization of higher education.

Tempus invites all eligible applicants to submit project proposals under new 4th Call for Proposals (EACEA 32/2010), for the two available project types: Joint projects and Structural Measures.

The indicative budget under this call amounts to € 48.7 million, and the individual projects grants from € 0.5 to € 1.5 million. The deadline for the electronic submission of proposals is February 15th, 2011.
