“The Delegation of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina/EUSR welcomes the ongoing public campaign carried out by the State Electricity Regulatory Commission and Entity regulators on upcoming full electricity market opening. We fully concur that it is vitally important to ensure that the general public is in position to easily obtain and understand what electricity market liberalization entails. These activities are an indication that relevant BiH stakeholders are aiming at fulfilling the undertaken commitment as the signatory of the Energy Community Treaty. In this context we would also like to underline that BiH authorities are expected to meet all of the requirements stemming from the Energy Community Treaty, in particular transposition and implementation of the EU Third Energy Package in electricity and gas sectors.”
