Head of Delegation/EU Special Representative, Ambassador Peter Sorensen, expresses his deepest condolences to families, friends and all employees of the Zenica – Raspotočje Coal Mine following the tragic death of five miners.

Ambassador Sorensen said:

“It was with deep sadness that I learnt about the tragic  death of  five miners in the Raspotočje coal mine accident. I express my sincere condolences and those of the EU to those who have lost loved ones in the accident. In this difficult time, the families of the victims of this tragic accident are in our thoughts and prayers. We wish them strength to endure in these difficult times.”
