Within the EU funded project “Training in Administrative Procedures in BiH”, training for managers of administrative procedures and public administration inspectors from Republika Srpska, started today in Banja Luka.

The aim of this project is to contribute to building an efficient, transparent and service oriented public administration through training of public officials who manage administrative procedures and public administration inspectors at all levels in BiH.

Project foresees training up to 1.500 managers of administrative procedures and inspectors, who, in their everyday work comply with the Law on Administrative Procedure, and the Law on General Administrative Procedure.

From Republika Srpska, 498 public officials from different administrative authorities of Republika Srpska, will be part of this training. Experts engaged on this project will, through interactive trainings for public officials in the period from April 07 – October 10, 2014, transfer expertise and best practices in the implementation of the Law on Administrative Procedures.

Project implementation is in line with the objective from Revised Action Plan 1 of Strategy for Public Administration Reform, in regards to the field of administrative procedures and administrative services.

The EU funded this project in the amount of 700.050 EUR from IPA 2012. The project started in November 2013 and will last until August 2015. The project is implemented by a consortium led by the European Consulting Group from Belgrade (ECG). The main project partner is the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office (PARCO).
