The European Union Special Representative in BiH, Paddy Ashdown, on Wednesday launched the new EUSR Website, which can be accessed at:
The website features up-to-the-minute news regarding the EUSR’s activities and strategic priorities.
“BiH’s destiny lies in Europe, as a member, one day, of the European Union. As we move away from the era of Dayton and into the era of Brussels, the EU’s engagement in BiH is growing more and more significant,” the EUSR said on Wednesday at a press conference to launch the website. “My role as EUSR is evolving at the same time. In the months ahead, this new EUSR website will serve as one of our main communications tools – making EUSR policies and operations accessible to citizens in BiH and beyond.”
The website, which has a full-text search engine and offers users the possibility of receiving daily email updates on the work of the EUSR, was produced by the EUSR/OHR Press Office and the Sarajevo-based Software Company QSS (Quality Software Solutions).
