In a letter to the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik and Igor Radojicic, the High Representative and EU Special Representative, Miroslav Lajčák, today expressed his profound condolences on the sudden death of the President of Republika Srpska, Milan Jelić.

“President Jelić was a respected politician. In the short time that I knew him, we established a professional relationship. His death comes as a shock to all those who worked with him. I would like to extend my profound condolences to his family, his associates and the citizens of Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole”, the High Representative and EU Special Representative said.
