High Representative and EU Special Representative, Miroslav Lajčák, met today in Sarajevo with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Milan Roćen. During the meeting, the High Representative and EU Special Representative informed Minister Roćen about the current political situation in BiH and the progress the country had made on the road of Euro-Atlantic integration. The High Representative and EU Special Representative stressed that the positive momentum that had resulted from the signing of the SAA was lost after the Agreement was signed, but that the recent meeting of the three leaders offered hope that dialogue and compromise finally had finally become public legitimate in the political life of BiH. He expressed hope that there had come to an awareness that intolerance, maximalist positions and negative rhetoric were in no way helpful for BiH in its efforts to join the EU.
