On the eve of the most important match in the history of BiH football, High Representative and EU Special Representative Valentin Inzko met with BiH National Team Coach Miroslav Ćiro Blažević. During the meeting, the HR/EUSR and Mr Blažević gave an interview to the www.reci.ba. website.

After sharing their impressions of last week’s game in Portugal, HR/EUSR Inzko and Coach Blažević discussed the impact of sports and the success of BiH football players on the reputation of BiH abroad. They said  that the success of the BiH football squad, which is among the teams that have scored most goals in this World Cup so far, shows that when you have quality you can go the extra step.

Inzko and Blažević believe the BiH National Team can be an example for the whole country, and that BiH can excel not just in sports but in all other areas.

HR/EUSR Inzko expressed the hope that the BiH National Team will join the 32 best teams in the world and travel to South Africa next year.
