The High Representative and EU Special Representative, Valentin Inzko, met today in Sarajevo with Operation Commander Operation Althea (EUFOR), General Sir John McColl to discuss the current political and security situation in BiH.

HR/EUSR Inzko informed General McColl of the difficult political and economic situation in the country. EUSR Inzko said today: “Work on the reform process can not be held hostage to the October elections. There is still time to show that the last four years have not been wasted, and that progress on the institutional and legal reforms required by the EU and NATO agendas is possible.”
