BiH’s Young Generation Engages on Key Issues and Wins

Today in Sarajevo the High Representative and EU Special Representative, Valentin Inzko, congratulated BIH youngsters who won the International Competition “Take Care of Your Planet – All Against Climate Change 2010”. The meeting was organized by NGO Mir i Prijateljstvo at the Third High School Sarajevo.

“Once again BiH has proved to have exceptionally talented and gifted children. These achievements show that BiH can engage on key issues in a winning way,” HR/EUSR Inzko said congratulating the children and their teachers. These children are an example for BiH’s huge potential. They deserve a decent perspective in their own country in the years to come.

The BiH students who won in four out of six categories at the competition in Spain are Rijad Dzihic and Aja Muslic from Sarajevo; Mustafa Novalic from Gradacac. The First Elementary School Konjic won the first place in the collective work category.

Climate change is a key EU issue that “affects us all and does not recognize Entity or State borders,” said Inzko.
