Head of the Delegation of the EU and EU Special Representative in BiH, Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, met with the High Representative, Valentin Inzko, in Sarajevo today.

Ambassadors Inzko and Wigemark reiterated the international community’s commitment to Bosnia and Herzegovina as a sovereign and united country, as well as their support for much-needed and sometimes difficult changes that are required for the country to become a functional, stable and prosperous member of the European family.

Ambassador Wigemark began his public activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday after handing over his credentials to the BiH Presidency Chairman, Dr. Mladen Ivanic. He also held his first press conference in BiH on 15 April in the EU House in Sarajevo.
