New online database of EU projects now available

The Delegation of the EU to Bosnia and Herzegovina has put online on 21 January a database presenting summaries of its projects under the EU fund ‘Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance 2007 – 2013’.

The website www.projects.europa.ba, also accessible through the homepage of www.europa.ba, presents information about projects by sector, their relation to the EU ‘acquis’ (body of law taken on by all EU member states), locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and projects aimed at developing civil society. The website will be periodically updated.

The Head of Co-operation Melvin Asin said: “EU funds can provide powerful support for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s progress towards the EU. In the period 2007 – 2013 the EU committed just over 600 million EUR in the country. The aim of the website is to present to the wider public the broad range of areas and geographical spread of the IPA projects through which the EU is supporting the country.”
