Job opportunity: Recruitment launched for new Executive Director of Anna Lindh Foundation

 
The European Commission is seeking to pre-select the new Executive Director of the Anna Lindh Foundation for Inter-Cultural Dialogue, based in Alexandria, Egypt.
 
The candidate should be a national of one of the following UfM Mediterranean Partner Countries: Albania, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia or Turkey. Among the requirements, He/she should have at least 15 years of relevant professional experience, and at least 5 years of professional experience related to intercultural dialogue or civil society in the Euro-Med region. He/she should have an extensive knowledge of international standards in general management of international organisations, in international standards in financial management and experience in human resources management.

The closing date for application is 28th August 2014 at 6 pm Brussels time.

The term of office is three years, which may be extended once for a total of maximum six years.
