UK Flood Response Team arrives to BiH

A Flood Response Team as part of the United Kingdom’s International Search and Rescue Team has deployed to Bosnia and Herzegovina to act as responders to the ongoing national emergency situation.

A team comprised of 33 first responders from the UK National Fire Service arrived at Sarajevo Airport tonight. They are self sustaining Search and Rescue Unit trained to deal with floods. The team is equipped with 4 motor boats, pumps, and rescue equipment. They are immediately deployed to Tuzla from where they will be sent to areas of the most critical need.
