“I met today in Budapest the five political parties’ leaders from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We continued our consultations related to the implementation of the Sejdić-Finci ruling, in particular the election of the two members of the Presidency from the Federation.

“I acknowledged further progress and political determination of the leaders to harmonize their positions. This is really needed, and I am convinced that a final agreement can still be reached in continuing consultations.

We intend to continue those consultations in Brussels on an expert level next week and if needed, follow-up consultations in BiH before we will be able to reconvene a meeting in the format like today.”
