EU Delegation in BiH/EUSR, the German Embassy and the FBiH Blood Transfusion Institute organized a blood donation day in the premises of EU building in Sarajevo on Wednesday, 23 October 2013. The building’s security company ‘Sikra Security’ also participated in the action. 18 employees of the mentioned institutions donated blood for the needs of Clinical Centre ‘Kosevo’, which covers the whole territory of the FBiH.
The EU Delegation in BiH and the FBiH Blood Transfusion Institute have jointly organized a blood donation day since 2009.
The FBiH Blood Transfusion Institute has demand for 70-100 doses (units) per day for patients being treated at the Clinical Centre.
