Erste Foundation Award for Social Integration 2012 – Open Call

The new call for applications is open from 3 September until 11 November 2012

After months of brainstorming, planning and preparations, we are happy to announce the start of the new call for applications! With a new country on-board, Austria, the fourth edition of the ERSTE Foundation Award for Social Integration promises to be even more exciting than before. In the next two months we’ll be traveling through 13 European countries to meet old and new friends committed to the social integration of marginalized people. New adventures on the horizon, all culminating in June 2013, when we’ll find out who are the new winners, at the Award Ceremony in Vienna. But meanwhile, there will be a lot of suspense, endless hope, overwhelming emotions!

Prizes: 33 winners will be awarded with prize money totaling 610,000 Euro, as well as with professional PR & media consultancy on a two-year period.

All finalists (approximately 130 projects) will receive capacity building workshops, as part of the ERSTE Foundation NGO Academy.

All applicants will be invited to participate in our online capacity building trainings.

We are looking for: social integration projects that show high quality, innovation and sustainability.

Who can apply: nonprofit organizations from 13 European countries – Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic and Slovenia.

When to apply: 3 September – 11 November 2012.
