All media are cordially invited to the Closing ceremony of the Regional Business Matchmaking Centre Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized by the Centre for Promotion of Local Development (PLOD) Bihac, which will take place on 17 February 2010 starting at 11:00 at the Hotel “Opal Exclusive” in Bihac (Krupska bb, www.hotelopalexclusive.net).

This project in total value of 182.000,00 Euro was funded by the European Union from the CARDS 2006 Annual Action Programme for Bosnia and Herzegovina – EU Support to SMEs and Economic Development to Bosnia and Herzegovina and implemented by the PLOD Centre Bihac in cooperation with Bihac Municipality and the Una-Sana Chamber of Commerce. The aim of the project, implemented from December 2007 to February 2010, was to improve the cooperation between BiH and foreign companies, develop strategic partnerships and cross border business cooperation.

The achievements of the project in the overall regional economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its relevance in the context of European Integration process, as well as practical recommendations for further business matchmaking of the BiH SMEs and improvement of cross border business cooperation will be presented at the closing ceremony.
