Mrs Paola Pampaloni, Head of Unit for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the European Commission Directorate General for Enlargement, Mr Thomas Seiler from the same unit and Mr Johann Hesse, Head of Operations section for economic reform, trade and natural resources in the European Union Delegation to BiH visited the State Energy Regulatory Commission (SERC) in Tuzla on Monday, February 7, 2011.

They met a team of SERC, led by the current Chairman Mr. Mirsad Salkić, and discussed the functioning and performance of this instituion. The meeting concluded that SERC is performing all duties well, including the recently acquired tasks in relation to regulating electricity distribution and supply in the Brcko District. Taking up this task was agreed as one element of a road map which will be followed by a review of the overall legislation of BiH in the area of electricity and bringing it in line with EU legislation.
