A first meeting in the framework of the Post-Visa Liberalisation Monitoring Mechanism took place yesterday May 11 in the premises of the European Commission. A delegation of relevant BiH authorities, led by the Minister of Security Mr. Sadik Ahmetovic, met with representatives from DG Home and Enlargement to discuss issues related to the sustainable follow up of reforms introduced in the justice and home affairs sectors.

A technical report on the outcome of the meeting is currently under preparation. Representatives from the European Commission confirmed that the meeting proved to be constructive and the technical dialogue provided the necessary elements to ensure the continued commitment by BiH authorities in guaranteeing the sustained and effective implementation of all reforms introduced under the visa dialogue.
