European Parliament resolution on the Srebrenica Commemoration

During the plenary session held on 9 July 2015, the European Parliament adopted a Resolution on the Srebrenica Commemoration.

Members of the European Parliament expressed their regret that the UN Security Council failed to pass a resolution commemorating the genocide, and called for acceleration of war crimes prosecution at international and domestic level. MEPs commemorated and honoured all the victims of the massacre and all the atrocities during the wars in the former Yugoslavia, and expressed their solidarity with their families, many of which are still left without final confirmation of the fate of their relatives.
