EU Info centre announced winners of the competition “My Travel through Europe”

“My travel through Europe“, a competition open to young tourists launched by the EU Info Centre in BiH has ended.  The competition was open to  BiH citizens  aged 16 to 27, who were to submit a short travel story and photos from their trip through Europe, describing the most interesting aspects of their travel to the European Union, promoting the values of the European Union as well as depicting the advantages of travelling and learning about different cultures and people.

The event saw a high-level of competition among talented Bosnian-Herzegovinian youth who submitted their works. The commission selected 12 finalists based on their writing style and the creativity of the text and citizens voted for their works through the EUIC website until January 10 2016.

Upon the very tight voting contest the winners of the competition are: Armen Tatarević from Zenica, winning the first prize; Vladimir Ruf from Vareš, taking the second place; and Ivana Papac from Stolac in third place.

The winners had the opportunity to choose their prize from among the following items: laptop, smartphone, tablet, TV or digital camera, all of a value greater than 500 KM.
