Energy Efficiency Info Desks (EE Info Desks) opened in the Municipality of Neum and the City of Mostar on 24 March 2016. Setting up EE Info Desks is integral to activities under CB-GREEN Cross-Border, Green, Renewable and Energy Efficient Networking project, funded by the European Union under the IPA Component II – Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina 2007-2013.

Info Desks have been established to inform and advise citizens on possibilities of energy savings and co-financing of measures to increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources as well as other issues in the field of energy efficiency. Relevant information and consultation will be offered by members of the EE Teams (Energy Efficiency Teams).

CB-GREEN project aims to improve energy management system in local communities and promote energy efficiency and sustainable energy system in cross-border areas through joint initiatives of partners from the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and the Zadar Canton. The project is implemented by the Municipality of Neum, City of Mostar and the Regional Development Agency for Herzegovina REDAH from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the City of Zadar, Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA and NGO Eko-Zadar from Croatia.

In the Municipality of Neum, the EE Info Desk has been established within the Department of Housing and Utilities, Construction and Development, gathering the following team members: Mario Matić, Marko Tapalović, and Marija Tolja.

In the City of Mostar, the EE Information Desk has been set up as a part of the Secretariat of the Mostar City Mayor, with the EE Team members as follows: Darko Knezović, Miroslav Selmanić, Amela Sjekirica – Suljić, Radoslav Marić, Dražan Vrljić, and Indira Beglerović.
