Opening of the Month of the Italian Culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Italian Embassy opens the Month of the Italian Culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the exhibition “Shots from the world”, realized in collaboration with the Association Simone Tetti, taking place from 3 to 7 November at Delikatesna Radnja, in Sarajevo.
“Shots from the world” tells the story out of the ordinary of Simone Tetti: a young Italian photographer, traveler and aero-spatial engineer born in Rome in 1982.

Affected by a serious form of cancer, osteosarcoma, since he was 10, Simone – despite illness and medical treatments- obtained a degree in engineering in 2005 and travelled all over the world – from Tokyo to London, from the US to South Africa.

After he passed away in February 2013, his friends and relatives founded the Association Simone Tetti- Life is not breathing but doing and launched the project WORLD! – an exhibition, already hosted in Rome and London, presenting a selection of his photos-, aimed at supporting the research on osteosarcoma led by the Laboratory of Pathology of Policlinico Umberto I in Rome.
