European Commission invites contributions for 2015 Progress Report

Every year, the European Commission publishes the ‘Enlargement package’ which includes the ‘Enlargement Strategy paper’ as well as country specific reports. The reports assess the specific situation in each candidate country and potential candidate with a view to EU integration.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina 2015 Progress Report will have a similar structure to the 2014 Report, and will focus particularly on the ‘fundamentals’ of the EU Enlargement Strategy: rule of law, public administration reform and economic governance. It will take stock, for each of the relevant criteria (Political criteria, Economic criteria and European standards), of the readiness of BiH for future EU membership and of progress made since September 2014. This is measured in terms of decisions actually taken, legislation adopted and the degree of implementation.

The EU Delegation is inviting civil society organisations and sectoral stakeholders to submit written contributions summarizing your observations on the areas related to your sphere of activities during the reporting period. The Delegation expects contributions to be factually accurate, verifiable and objective.

Written contributions should be sent by no later than 27 March 2015 to the functional mailbox: delegation-bih-progress-report@eeas.europa.eu
